In the aftermath of the JNU sedition controversy, the arrest and subsequent bail of JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, the members of BJP, RSS and other Hindutva groups have started raising questions and offering illogical answers about the situation. A significantly large group of Indians toes the line of the RSS’ Hindutva ideology. Such people do not accept even true criticism of the BJP/RSS or their leader.
It was the same situation after the humiliating defeat of BJP, and its star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the last state assembly elections in Bihar. For them, it was not a defeat of the BJP. The BJP/RSS lost because others united. The unity of the other political faction was sort of cheating, a fraudulent act, for the BJP members. They don’t want the people with non-Hindutva ideology to unite. It’s not right for the right wing.
A similar bantering on the latest JNU row and Kanhaiya Kumar’s speech was noticed on the Facebook wall of this guy from Madhepura, Bihar.
Here are the answers demanded by him.
[Q] Why he came out against this govt??
— Because this government arrested him for an act that he claims to have not committed. Most people with even an ill-developed intellect also found his arrest irrational.
[Q] Why he is not criticising the govt of Bihar from “where he is coming”?
— I am not sure about “where he is coming”.
Is he under any obligation to criticise everyone? He is talking about what’s before him.
[Q] Is this not true that there is sudden jump in crime and murder in Bihar?
— Based on the data released by Bihar Police (http://biharpolice.bih.nic.in/menuhome/crime-in-bihar.html), the number of reported murders over the last many years has remained around 3,500. No spikes here. You can analyse the data yourself for a better answer.
[Q] Azadi from growing up crime graph not required??
— Yes, but he is more concerned about his problems. Natural human behaviour. You can speak about your concerns.
[Q] Why he didn’t criticise WB govt where govt is supporting TMC hooligans most of the time…even terrorist acts are getting protection cover. Why he didn’t criticise cong govt of Kerala for being mute spectator when Left people killed an RSS activist in front of his parent??
— He is just a young student trying to shape his own life. He might have criticised the WB govt. Does he need to send live feeds of his activities to you?
[Q] Why he didn’t question most corrupt union govt which was in Power just two year back…?? What he was doing then…? Why he is not doing research on how much money drained due to the scams (2-G/Coal/defence purchase etc)done by previous UPA govt…??
— The last government did get its share of criticism. Now, it’s the current government that is responsible for the country. This government can expedite the investigations into corruption charges and punish those found guilty. Do you remember Bangaru Laxman?
According to a survey, the BJP-ruled Gujarat ranks 10th on the corruption chart in India. Also, we have recently read so much about the land transactions in Gujarat.
“The perception of corruption, Gujarat is the 10th worst state, high levels of corruption, tax administration is not good. In fact Gujarat is just one step ahead of Bihar as Bihar is 11th.” — Errol D’Souza, senior Economics faculty at IIMA cited the 2010 business reports done nationwide.
[Q] He is just a stupid guy and superficial journalists making him Hero and might be the king of fools paradise.
— Kanhaiya Kumar might be a stupid guy, but the government made a hero out of him. His connect with realities of the common man has also helped. He seems to understand the Indian aspirations better than the big names of Indian politics.
[Q] Azadi from what….?? every problem came in this country in just two year span…? Nothing was wrong during other’s regime…?
— His political ideology is his own. Azadi (freedom) to speak (against the government and the rulers) and dissent freely is what the country wants. That’s why he received the kind of popular support that you fail to accept graciously.
[Q] What is this Lal Salam….?? What good it offers to the society, which is suffering from many ailment… ?? Why this poor chap is raising slogan at JNU…?? Why he is not putting his hard effort to curb poverty from the society/country.??
— Lal Salam – Long Live The Revolution. Those who hail this Red Revolution associated with Lal Salam did not get supported by the nation or by the “superficial” journalists. The country sought the freedom to speak freely & not become mere subjects of the RSS or the BJP or any other force.
The Lal Salam associated with red flags, extremism and extortions doesn’t do any good to the country. The communists & naxalites indulging in an armed struggle are fighting a lost battle. They must learn from the RSS, which has been gradually expanding across the country through its shakhas and cultural activities.
[Q] What kind of research he is doing at JNU…?
— None of our business.
[Q] If he has so much of unrest they why he is not making this country a place where poverty/unemployment/poor health condition will be a word of past….?? Superficial Journalists again failed to identify real & fake….like they failed once during Anna movement.
— Do you really think one young student from JNU can solve all the problems that a huge cabinet of ministers led by the prime minister fail to tackle efficiently?
[Q] What is his merit…?? just to criticise act of govt….??
–How about I come and slap you for no fault of yours?
[Q] First, he has to come with his contribution towards our society before doing Bakwas at live concert… and in my view, it was a shameful act by some so called sickular hollow journalists/cunning leaders who were making him all time great.
— Is the flowery language a copyright of any individual? Can there be only one orator in the country who deserves being shown on prime time television? Do you find speeched by Shri Narendra Modi “rock solid” without banter and blabbers? Our Prime Minister, or rather his social media manager, sends birthday wishes to a foreign dignitary on a wrong day. His speeches can have wrong facts and figures. Let the Kannhaiya Kumar’s speech at JNU after his release be just another act of showman, like the one by our prime minister.
[Q] Lakhs of people of this country (including me) paying hefty tax to the govt for making our educational institutions a great place to nurture our budding generation. On our taxes he (stupid chap Kanhaiya) and some more are enjoying there in JNU…?? Please ask this stupid chap about his/friends contribution for the society..?? Can anyone has answer of these question….?
— Let’s work it out.
I have been paying a good amount as tax every year. If you have paid more income tax in the past five years than what I did, I will accept he is wasting your hefty tax money. Otherwise, it’s my money. I want it to be spent on education.
A majority of Indians study in government colleges. Almost all prestigious colleges in India are directly funded by the government. After my school, I have studied in government-funded colleges and institutions where the fees were highly subsidized. My parents were educated on taxpayers’ money. They contribute to the country’s tax coffers. I have studied in the education system funded by taxpayers’ money. I am contributing to the income of the country. I want the tax money to be spent on schools and colleges. Our education system needs improvements.
Tax money is my money, not that of any political party or a social organization. I want it to be spent on me and my people, for their education and healthcare. I want them to have the freedom to choose their own political ideology. Let the people of India have the education it deserves. Let them gain wisdom to be able take correct decisions for themselves and not get fooled by banters.
Your’s Truly.
